Shabadrang Bandhana Kaur Khalsa is a Yogini, Health Professional, and Healer

My yoga journey began in 2004 when I delved into hatha and vinyasa yoga, alongside exploring Reiki. In 2007, I completed my first teaching training at Frog Lotus Yoga in Massachusetts, an experience that ignited my passion for sharing these practices. Since then, I have pursued numerous certification programs, continually expanding my knowledge and skills. Now, I am just one year away from earning a Master's degree in Ayurveda and Integrated Medicine from Maharishi International University. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege to teach in various locations, including New Hampshire, Alaska, Washington, Mexico, and the Punjab region of India. Currently, I am teaching with Asha Yoga and Wellness and Inner Alchemical Healing. My commitment to the environment and the welfare of animals is a driving force in my life, and I cherish moments spent around a fire or swimming with friends and family during the summer months.

Shabadrang distinguishes herself from other yoga instructors through a unique and compassionate approach.

  1. Personal Connection: She meets individuals at their unique point on their life journey, whether they are complete beginners or experienced teachers seeking deeper insights.

  2. Focused Workshops: Rather than conventional classes that emphasize flexibility or advanced poses, her workshops delve into the realms of Awareness, Ayurvedic lifestyle, Krays, breathwork, and meditation, providing an enriching experience that goes beyond physical practice.

  3. Empowerment as Healer: Shabadrang emphasizes self-reliance in healing, guiding her students to tap into their innate ability to heal themselves using minimal tools, steering clear of reliance on extensive equipment, recreational medications, or crystals.

  4. Practical Solutions: Recognizing that not everyone has the luxury of time, money, or space, she offers practical, instant tools that can immediately alleviate pressure and promote well-being, ensuring that help is accessible whenever it is needed.

Through these principles, Shabadrang creates a transformative yoga experience grounded in self-care and personal empowerment.

Postures

Asana, kriyas, postures, open the channels of the body. Leaving you feeling fresh, light, and able. They help enliven Awareness. Promote healthy maintenance of the joints, heart, digestion, nerves system, clear unwanted memories and maintain mental health.

Meditation

Meditation is key to taking care of your mind. You clean your cloths, brush your teeth, exercise your muscles, but how do you care for your mind? You do this with meditation. When mind is clear, Awareness blooms. Choosing healthy options becomes natural. Mental illness and disease disappears.

Ayurveda is the science of how to balance the doshas, with ly style, foods, erbs, and more. These doshas are everywhere and in everything. They are constantly being pushed and pulled by our daily actions. Ayurveda teaches us how to live within natural law.
